Nutribullet has once again been recognized on the global design stage. The brand’s latest innovation, the Nutribullet Flip, has received the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025, an honor reserved for the year’s most outstanding product designs.
Developed in close collaboration with the team at Motiv, a Boston-based product design firm, the Nutribullet Flip represents a bold step forward in personal blending. Featuring an all-new, flip-to-go cup mechanism, intuitive one-handed operation, and a streamlined design that complements modern kitchen aesthetics. The Flip delivers both convenience and performance in one sleek package.
“Winning a Red Dot is always an incredible honor,” said Bob Finnance, Executive Vice President, Product Development at Capital Brands, LLC. “The Flip is a direct response to what today’s consumers want: speed, simplicity, and versatility. This award validates the deep research and thoughtful design that went into creating a truly next-gen blending experience.”
The Red Dot Award is one of the world’s largest and most respected design competitions, judged by an independent panel of international experts. The Nutribullet Flip stood out for its combination of innovative features, sustainable material choices, and user-centered design approach.
Motiv, which also partnered on the award-winning Nutribullet Ultra, played a pivotal role in bringing the Flip to life. From early concept development to final design refinement, the collaboration focused on understanding real-world consumer habits and designing a product that could seamlessly fit into them.
“We’re proud to see the Nutribullet Flip recognized with a Red Dot,” said Steffen Koury, Motiv’s Director of Product Design at Motiv. “It’s a product that balances functionality and form with a strong design story, and we’re thrilled to have contributed to its success.”
The Nutribullet Flip will be featured alongside other award-winning products in the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany, and will be included in the Red Dot Design Yearbook 2025/26.
