With over 180 design patents and multiple honors including the IDEA, Red Dot, and Good Design Awards, Steffen Koury leads Motiv’s product development with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of what makes products succeed.

Over the course of his career, Steffen has helped shape products across a wide range of industries—from housewares and consumer electronics to hardware and personal care. He brings a rare combination of creative vision, strategic thinking, and real-world experience, having guided major accounts and launched products that resonate with both consumers and retailers.

At Motiv, Steffen champions a design philosophy rooted in simplicity, imagination, and emotional connection. He believes that good design should not only solve problems—it should spark curiosity, inspire delight, and make a lasting impression. Before joining Motiv, Steffen served as Design Manager at Proteus and as an Industrial Designer at Design Continuum. Today, he continues to shape Motiv’s creative direction, driving a culture of exploration, excellence, and purpose-driven design.
